How Our Pool Leak Detection Works.
Pool leak detection at a professional flat-rate fee (see our pricing page for current rates). The fee covers detection only — repairs are quoted separately after the inspection. Here is exactly how the process works.
Site Visit & Inspection
We visit your property and perform a thorough leak detection on the pool — shell, plumbing, skimmers, returns, lights, main drains, spas and water features.
Source Identification
Possible leak sources are identified during the inspection. We then test each one to confirm the diagnosis and rule out anything that isn't the cause.
Detection Fee Paid
Detection fee is paid after we are done with the inspection — quoted upfront before we start.
DETECTION ONLYWhatsApp Report
We send you a short WhatsApp with pictures or videos explaining the cause of the leak and how to fix it — easy to share with your plumber, insurer or HOA.
Repair Quote
We provide you with a quote to fix the leak. You are not obligated to use us for the repair — the WhatsApp report works with any plumber.
Repair (Optional)
If you choose us, our experienced team fixes the source of the leak and stops the leak for good.
Coverage: We work everywhere in Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo and North West. To book — send us your full address and the day you are available.
Is Your Pool Leaking?
If any of these apply to your pool, you almost certainly have a leak — not just evaporation.
Symptoms To Watch For
- Pool level dropping more than 1–2cm per week (above evaporation)
- Water loss gets worse when the pump is running
- Wet paving, lawn or soil around the pool
- Air bubbles in the return jets
- Pump struggling to prime or losing prime
- Visible cracks, stains or efflorescence around fittings
- Pool deck or coping moving / settling
- Algae growth despite proper chemistry (fresh water entering)
What We Test
- Pool shell — cracks, plaster failure, tile bond loss
- Skimmer boxes and throat seals
- Return lines under pressure
- Main drain plumbing
- Underwater lights and conduit penetrations
- Spa jets and air lines (if applicable)
- Equipment pad — pump, filter, heater, valves
- Backwash and waste lines
